How many times has your child misplaced a mitten and you had to go searching for it. That scenario made me think of this learning activity. Match the uppercase letter mittens with the lowercase letter ones.
To create this game, cut some mitten shapes. You'll add letters on separate pieces of paper to save time. Cut 3 inch squares of paper and write the upper and lowercase letters that you want to practice with your child and add a few to the mittens. Place the letters in random order and let your child match the letters. When your child is done, replace the letters with a new set and play again.
